Time to Paint The Tardis Black, Pink or Sprinkle Magic..

I'll be 28 by then...  Christ, I'm old! Anyway, I dedicate this to all the
fans of the greatest and longest running Tokusatsu from Britain.

The 50 year old British Sci-fi epic, Doctor Who will get a change of face once again.  This time adding more color and spice to the Tardis with it's newest regeneration.  With it's birthday special (November 23, 2013) looming, not only will fans worldwide be anticipating the advent of the legendary Timelord and his reincarnations, but a new regeneration to unfold for 2014 and beyond.

Our newest Doctor could be this American Gangster.

To further the fan anticipation, Matt Smith, the current 11th Doctor, is hanging his Sonic Screwdriver at the end of the year.  According to an article from the British online magazine, DailyMail.co.uk, 35 year-old actor, Chiwetel Ejiofor of American Gangster fame has declared to succeed Smith as the 12th Doctor.  Though he is not without competition, the chances seem high for him to wield the Sonic Screwdriver.

...Weasley might one up Harry Potter as
the youngest Time Lord in history.
Many of the UK's best and brightest in theatre and entertainment; among them is Harry Potter's friend and sidekick, Ron Weasley, better known as Rupert Grint (24) who might become the youngest Time Lord in record.  The online magazine also went on to reveal more potential regenerations to carry on the tradition.

Hail to the King of Time
Doctor Who is a British science-fiction television show which began it's airing in 1963.  The series centers on an eccentric nameless Time Lord dubbed "The Doctor" who traded his authority in favor of adventure and to establish his status as hero to the common good.  He is periodically accompanied by the very people he protects as he travels time and space in his sentient flying ship called the TARDIS, which looks a 1963 police box; such is extremely commonplace in the UK.  Doctor Who has become apart of British cultural legacy as well as an international success; touching the lives of viewers young and seasoned.  November 23, 2013 will hallmark 50 years that the series has aired on BBC worldwide.  The current Doctor, per this writing, is played by Matt Smith (preceeded by David Tennant who acted as the 10th).

American Fans can watch Doctor Who on BBC America.
